After doing some extensive research I discovered that there is only one reason why men cheat on their lovely women. The mama watotos.
Sex.
Many people will come up with many physchological studies and all these hypotheses.
1. Boredom
2. There more women than men!!!
3. Ego
4. She cheated on you(revenge)
5. Lack of Variety
6. The Love has died...
But all these are just cover ups to the real reason.
Which is.
The man is not getting enough sex to keep him faithful. To keep him sane!
When a woman assumes her position in a man's life. Her fulfilment is:
+ Having him come home and look into her eyes.
+ Having the man repair the broken down sink.
+ Opening for her doors
+ Appreciating her efforts.
+ Commending her making her hair in a particular way.
+ Listening to her bitch about her friends, workmates and life.
This is sex to a woman.
So once she has established herself and is getting all these things(plus others I may have not included) the woman is complete. Sex is work.
Plus she could get pregnant!
It is risky!
Plus she is not in the mood!
Or she is tired...
All kinds of reasons and excuses.
A man on the other hand. Fuels his life tank with good sex. This is a strange tank I may add. It can never get full. But it empties up very quickly.
All men expect at least to have sex twice in a day. And escape for a sex retreat once in a month where sex could go on for the whole day.
obviously women do not appreciate this.
So unless he can crudely fill his own tank is some way or another... a man has little choice really.
Of course we cannot blame the woman... don't get me wrong. I mean she is tired, having her Ps, gave birth some time this year, is not in the mood...
This is purely to clarify why for those you are in doubt.

first, i am gathering that you're a new comer to the whole sex thing. did i hear you say a man needs "sex twice a day"? hmm. i am a man, and right now, i feel like i could do without sex for a month! reason. i think i have actually fallen out of love with my girl. and to be honest, i am bored of our sexual liaisons. so if i do cheat on her, it would be because of these two reasons. in the heydays, i was comforable with sex 2/3 times a week. and the thought of dogging did not even cross my mind.
if you ask any psychologist, or even seek within what you know, you would know that cheating by men can be sometimes because of emotional reasons. that is, if a man feels a waning or lack of an emotional connection with his girl/wife...he is likely to "cheat" emotionally by seeking love and acceptance elsewhere......
i stand to be corrected.
In my opinion I think that sometimes people like to complicate simple things. But I agree there many facets to this issue... that I overlooked, intentionally actually, so that I could clarify my theory.
And I if I may add, in my great hurry to join the long line of people eager to dymystify the question of aons... , I forgot to mention this is something that's a product of my research - hence limited to it. Which (humbly sallowing saliva, head bowed) could be somewhat "green" ,as you suggest, in this colourful spectra of love and relationships...
Sex is complex. It requires more than just friction of the lions but conduit of other things like acceptance like you have mentioned.
I am not a woman so I may not be truly the best person to comment about this... but I have been made to believe that one month without sex in womanspeak is not that long. By the way, even I say sex... please dont get it twisted, sex here means just about any kind of sex(release) including alternative ways of adminstration when the usual object of desire is not around.
Anyway...
But just that I know if I seriously need to go back to the fields, with a pen, paper and recorder... sexexpert... hypothetically speaking, assuming that you got a way of overcoming the other non-sex related issues that must have caused this rift between the two of you, would you be content with sex say once in three months?
Like you I stand to be corrected. knowledge is a path. I seek only to learn.
I, for one, would only cheat if there was a lack of satisfactory sex in the relationship. period.
